- Be selective with the quality of protein you are eating. Good quality protein are the ones which have complete chain of amino acid profile. Examples are eggs, red meat, fish and poultry. Diary products like paneer or cheese also have a good quality protein profile. One awesome Indian dish is sambar which is a combination of dal and veggies which has a complete profile too. Peanuts are the worst quality of protein, so better stay away from them.
- Weight training with light weights are the best option for women. Endurance training like swimming or cycling are also great but do not begin it all of a sudden. Such exercises need a lifetime of practice and training.

- Stop nibbling at food or eating at regular intervals. Sipping that amazing tall plastic glass from your favourite coffee shop is a really bad idea. It will unnecessary spike insulin and blood sugar which will disturb your hormonal balance and interfere with protein synthesis.
- Plan for two meals a day and let those meals be a balanced diet with lots of veggies and good quality protein.

- Strength building without weights will give you slow results, but they will be long lasting.
